Sunshine, Music, and Celebration at Our Annual Garden Party
Last week, we hosted our much-anticipated annual Garden Party and Afternoon Tea — and what a wonderful day it turned out to be! Despite a few days of unpredictable weather leading up to the event, the skies cleared just in time, allowing everyone to enjoy the festivities rain-free.
The garden was filled with the joyful sounds of a live band, whose music had everyone up on their feet dancing. It was fabulous to see staff, tenants, and attendees from our day service all coming together to share in the fun and laughter.
Guests were treated to a delightful spread of freshly made sandwiches and an array of homemade cakes, which were enjoyed by all.
Adding a special touch to the day, we celebrated tenant Rick’s birthday. As the band struck up a cheerful rendition of “Happy Birthday,” the entire crowd joined in to sing along, making it a truly memorable moment for Rick and everyone present.
Thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a success — we’re already looking forward to next year!
