Arighi Bianchi spread Christmas Cheer
The festive spirit was alive and well at Arighi Bianchi as staff came together for a Christmas Jumper Day in the run up to the festive season. The initiative raised an impressive £153 for the Trust.
Arighi Bianchi employees donned an array of festive sweaters and spread Christmas cheer throughout the store as they embraced the true spirit of Christmas and raised funds for the Trust.
Among the participants were WorkTaste coach Julie Barnes and Arighi Bianchi employee, and tenant of the Trust, Paul Smith. Paul has been assisted by coach Julie at his WorkTaste placement in the Arighi Bianchi cafe for two years now and last year was delighted to be offered a contract of employment there. Paul’s colleagues have been so welcoming and supportive of Paul which has resulted him flourishing during his placement and becoming a very valued member of the team.
The funds raised during the Christmas Jumper Day will be donated to the Trust and will make a meaningful difference to the lives of people like Paul who rely on our services. .
