The Rossendale Trust is very proud to present an exhibition by Alan Chapman, local artist and one of the founders of the Trust. The exhibition will be at Rossendale Hall, and will include artwork created by the Trust’s Arts & Crafts group.

Alan first became interested in painting as a relaxation. His love of painting continued and grew throughout a busy career and an equally busy family life.

He has had several exhibitions in aid of the Trust, and has also had his paintings exhibited at the Castle Gallery, Macclesfield, Manchester Art House, the Glyn-y-Weddw art gallery in Llanbedrog, Gwynedd and the Theatre by the Lake in Keswick.

This exhibition will feature both local and national scenes and all paintings are available to buy.

Sue Heaven (head of PR and Fundraising at the Trust) said, “Come up to the Hall and buy a unique piece of artwork by Alan or by one of our tenants. It’s a great chance buy that exceptional gift and to support the Rossendale Trust”.

The exhibition opens on Monday 4th December from 6pm to 8pm with wine and nibbles to welcome you in, and then continues Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm until the 22nd of December. The event is free but all proceeds from the paintings sold will be donated to The Rossendale Trust.

Would you like to attend the exclusive private view on Monday 4th of December before most people see the show? A glass of fizz and canapés await you on arrival from 6pm to 8pm at Rossendale Hall. Come along and get that special gift for Christmas…
